Waubs Gulch at Bicheno, Tasmania

Today ocean was quiet and Waubs Gulch at Bicheno looked almost picture perfect. Governor Island seen in a background provided additional refuge to two fishing trawlers. Tied up for their moorings boats rhythmically moved in a light breeze.

To capture the familiar scene differently and to give it different perspective I composed it down low at the ocean level, while looking over the some exposed granite boulders. The late afternoon light provided the necessary highlights and extended dynamic range of the scene.
