Wrapped Hay
Bales of hay are commonly seen throughout Tasmanian farm landscapes. But it seems that every time I wanted to photograph them they were always far away and out of reach, safely stored behind the barb wire fences. I am sure that farmers knew what they were doing.
This weekend I was lucky to discover some by the roadside . Wrapped in shiny black vinyl they had quiet a sweet smelling aroma of recently cut grass that was lingering in the air around them. I photographed them moments before the last rays of the day disappeared behind the hillside.
